Guild and companion planting takes advantage of processes occurring in nature that allow different kinds of plants to support and protect the growth of others. This support may come in the form of one kind of species protecting the other from harsh weather or from unwanted insects, or may relate to the resources that one kind of plant uses and releases in relation to its neighbors. For this mission, you will design your own guild.  You must choose plant species that will work in harmony with each other, fostering each other’s health and vitality. Research, and experiment with any means of doing so. You will choose the gardener whose method has proved the most successful.
